CHRISTIAN EDUCATION 2008-2009
We warmly invite you to participate in Christian Education. We have classes for every age group. We hope that you find these selections fulfilling!
Children’s Classes
Infants – 2 Years: The Nursery is open with a paid nanny from 10:00 AM– 12:00 PM (the end of the 10:45 service). The Nursery is found in the back of the Parish House.
Preschool (3 Years) – Kindergarten: The Preschool children will once again be in the company of Kathryn Nelson and Babs Barnes. Their classroom is found in the Parish House. Prayers, stories, music, coloring, all add to the morning of learning about God and his church.
God's Pod - 1st through 3rd Graders: This activity center based class is led by Jan Carlisto and Chrisy Brooks. This class meets in a room known as The God's Pod found in the back of the Parish House. They use the David C. Cook Curriculum Anglican Edition.
God's Pod Too - 4th through 5th Graders: This activity center based class is led by Kay Salter and Sylvia Wheatly. This class meets in The God's Pod Too room found in the back of the Parish House. They use the David C. Cook Curriculum Anglican Edition.
Youth Classes
Middle School Class (6th – 8th Grades): Middle school youth will be working with Callie Head and Michelle Gregory. They use the David C. Cook Curriculum Anglican Edition. Their class is located upstairs in the Parish Office.
High School Class (9th – 12th Grades): High school youth will meet with Dick Brown. They use the David C. Cook Curriculum Anglican Edition. They will meet in the second floor classroom in the Parish Office.
Crosswinds (Youth Group): Crosswinds is for youth in grades 6th through 12th. They normally every Sunday night from 5:30-7:30 Please see the Crosswinds Youth page and check the Epistle and Sunday bulletin insert for information updates.
Adult Classes
The Men’s Bible Study Group meet in the conference room on the first floor of the Parish Office led by Claud Wheatly.
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Women's Bible Study room in the Parish House.
The Adult Forum Class is open for both men and women. It meets in the Library located in the Parish House. It is led by the Rev. John Carlisto.
