St. Paul’s Music Scholars Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Music Scholars Program, the following criteria must be met:

• Applicants must be a high school or college aged (preferably already a student).
• Applicants must have a basic grasp of reading music. An expert level of reading is not required.
• Applicants are encouraged to provide a letter of recommendation from a music teacher. If the applicant is not able to obtain a letter of recommendation, this does not preclude the applicant from auditioning.

Prior musical training is preferred but is not required.

It is not a requirement that a Scholar be an Episcopalian.
