Acolytes | St. Paul's Beaufort

Our Acolytes are a key part of our worship services at St. Paul’s. They help to lead and guide the service alongside the priests of the parish. There is something incredibly special about serving at God’s altar and being an acolyte allows children and adults to live into their calling as ministers of the church. At our 8 am service, we typically have adults serve as acolytes, but children are welcome to serve as well. At our 10:45 am service, we rotate through teams of children and youth acolytes that serve as crucifers and torch bearers. Children as young as 3rd grade are welcome to serve in this role. Our History

We as Episcopalians believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. St. Paul's is part of the Episcopal Church, a church that is both rich with ancient tradition and relevant to life in the 21st century. We believe that God loves you - no exceptions.
